Casa Raposa is a stunning 3 bedroom cottage right by the sea on the Algarve, in the wonderful fishing village of Salema; a gem on the Algarve, an hour from Faro airport.

The cottage has been totally refurbished (summer 2018)

Salema lies on the Algarve's calm south coast, but it's great bonus is that it's just 15 minutes from Portugal's west coach surfing beaches. So for anyone who'd rather have some big wave action, the surf beaches are easily accessible. You can keep all the family happy on one holiday. 

There's a reason American travel writer, RICK STEVE describes Salema as is his most special place on the planet. The village lies on a wide, calm, golden-sand bay - fringed by a few outstanding restaurants and bars. It's a perfect place to escape, with or without the kids. 

Our lovely cottage is smack-bang in the heart of the old part of the village, a 1-minute walk to the beach. It's 'real Portugal' at its best. We lived here when we first moved to Portugal 12 years ago so it's a real 'home from home' for us and we now come for the odd week during the year.
